Hi, I’m AJ creator of Red Flagg Apparel.  Red Flagg Apparel started out as a way to kill time while I was deployed overseas in Afghanistan.  At the time, I was an Explosive Detection Dog handler for the US Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan and wanted to create a special hoodie that represented what I did.  So, I hopped on my design program and got creating, once I had the design down, I went to a local who did embroidery on the base next to the Embassy and had it made.  Feeling pretty proud of my hoodie, I proudly wore it around on my downtime, well, what happened next, kind of surprised me, my hoodie was seen of course by the other handlers who then asked me where I had gotten it.  After telling them I had designed it and had it made by a local on the base adjacent to us, everyone one wanted one.  At the time I was not thinking about making money, but sharing it with my brothers and sisters, so, I told them where to go and soon after that, pretty much everyone was wearing the hoodie I had made.  But it didn’t stop there, a lot of the American’s working on the Embassy saw the hoodie and asked if they could also get one, I said sure, and told them where they could get it.  A buddy of mine looked at me and told me, “bro, you need to do this as a business”, I never thought about it like that, so I went back to my design program and started getting really creative.  When I came home for good, I tried to get it started, but life happened and I had to take care of my family, so the idea and dream got shelved for a while, till now…

After getting tired of working for everyone else in my career, I decided it was time for me to work for myself and take my ideas and dreams and make them work for me and my family.  And here we are, RED FLAGG APPAREL!   

My designs aren’t just images on a T, they are my art and my feelings, from my Patriotism to my Faith to a little bit of my Attitude.  There are a lot of T-shirts that say a lot of stuff, some funny, some serious, but mine, mine are the feelings that I think people can resonate with and understand!

That’s why our motto is, “Dare to Wear How You Feel on Our T’s”, cause I believe we have a T, for everyone!
